Come Join Thousands of Protesters at the Capitol of Madison Saturday 10am

The growing tide of a movement sweeping across he country is centered here in Madison, WI.
Governor Scott Walker has given away millions of dollars in state taxes as tax cuts to out of state corporations. The state had a budget surplus, which was given away to these corporations. Corporate tax cuts are just another tactic of taking the publics money and giving it away to corporations along with special lobbying that creates tax loopholes for corporate tax avoidance.

This pretext of a budget crisis is in actuality a revenue crisis. A lack of revenue from the use of offshore tax havens by corporations to avoid paying taxes along with the general business tax cuts which have increasingly failed to create jobs in the private sector. This pretext of a budget crisis for an attack on unions, workers rights, collective bargaining, teachers, nurses and other everyday working citizens has now been exposed as a fraud.

In the dark of the night in secretive back room dealings reminiscent of some of the most undemocratic action in US history the Wisconsin govt. has stripped the financial provisions from the bill allowing them to avoid the democratic process of bargaining and quorum needed to vote on the bill. This type of legislation is being carried out in many states by Governors and state governments across the country with Indiana, Ohio, Idaho and Michigan to name a few.

In response to these undemocratic attacks on the people of this nation hundreds of thousands of citizens are organizing across the nation from a nation wide walk out on Friday of high schools, to call for a general strike in D.C. on May 5th. As growing mass protest of people come to Madison on Saturday March 12th to protest these actions taking place here and across the nation you are invited join USUncut and the Coffee Party here in Madison at the Capital.

Bring you signs, costumes, dogs, bullhorns and spirit of solidarity and join us as we march around the capital.
